I suppose today is the day.

The day I start a blog.

Truth be told I did not EVER think I would be here writing some wonky words into the ether through my new + improved artist website. My goal for the rest of this year and onto years to come is to be wildly proactive on promoting myself, my wonky art practice, or just my growing business in general. I suppose, in my brain, starting up a little artist blog will keep me on a *sort of* schedule + enable me to share all passing ideas with more than just my sketch book pages. The current plan of action is to post something once every other week ::: keep it small + work up to more often. The last year or so allowed for a massive fluctuation of my inner self; stemming from a few earthly distractions – truly sprouted an intense motivation to pursue my dreams of being the energetic visual artist I aspire to be.

Currently this blog will act as a place where I am truly free to expand on some of my random thoughts + ideas. Another note ::: some tell me my punctuation is a little wonky here + there and no, it is not on accident. Personally, I believe the way this blog is being written portrays how I actually talk plus it adds a little extra weird to whatever I am saying.

I am not used to sharing any of my thoughts to place where others can see.

My paintings + myself are deeply interwoven together, they are true direct reflections of my inner free spirit. I am a human who is constantly flowing with the every changing winds of the earth, a celestial + silent echo. Each finished piece is a silent echo into the vast unknowns of space, each one is something to get lost in.

A few years back, my best friends gifted me with the name echo :::: little did I know how potent of a name it is + how perfectly it aligns with the soul I am.
